New Challenge at LHOSM - Forget Me Knot Tilda

Hi everyone,

I hope your weekend is going well and if it's not then I am sending you a big hug, I need one a bit myself at the moment.

This afternoon we have new challenge at Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia and our theme is an easy peasy one of:

Anything Goes

I have coloured up an old stamp called Forget Me Knot Tilda and masked her with Shabby Chic Fence.

I know you can't really see the papers but they are by Anna Marie Designs called Blissful Teal and they are lush!

That butterfly corner by Joy Crafts has popped up again, I so love it! and the die on the left hand side is also by Joy Crafts

The gorgeous wooden fence was a gift from a lovely crafty friend, and the tassel is cut from a Marianne die.

Most of the embellishments are from my stash, but where I can I have put links to them at the bottom of this post.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Gathered Twigs, Antique Linen, Walnut Stain

Ribbon Girl Inspiration Card - Tilda Loves Flowers

Hi everyone,

I hope you are well. Sorry I have been MIA this week, but is has been too hot to do anything. I haven't even crafted, thankfully the much cooler weather has arrived, but now I've lost my mojo, I hope it returns quickly!

I thought I would share  an inspirational  card I made recently using an older Maggie called Tilda Loves Flowers, I never tire of this stamp

I have coloured her with DI reinkers, sprinkled some frantage around the image and added some star dust stickles to her socks.

The butterflies on the edge are cut from a Joy die twice, once in white card and the second time in coordinating papers.

The papers are by Pion called White Wedding. I have painted some white gesso on the edges.

The butterflies tucked behind the image is another Joy die and this one is a corner die, which tucks perfectly behind things. I think I will use this  a lot, so apologies in advance.

The beautiful flowers, lace, pearl gems and lace are all from the Ribbon Girl.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Walnut Stain, Gathered Twigs
Dress: Pumice Stone, Crushed Olive
Shoes: Victorian Velvet.
Flowers: Victorian Velvet, Bundled Sage, Shabby Shutters

Well that's it from me today.

Thank you for popping in.

Reminder card for the Paradise of Stamps - Sea Captain Tilda

Good morning,

It's rather warm here in the south of the U.K. at the moment, but it's so lovely to see the sun shining.

I am popping in to share a reminder card for the current challenge at the Paradise of Stamps. Our current theme is:

 'Summer'

I have coloured up the gorgeous Sea Captain Tilda again, but in a different colour way with DI reinkers.

Peeping out of the left hand side is a Marianne Anjas Vintage die cut. Whilst the card was still in the die I coloured it with a grey ink pad an slipped it underneath the papers.

The papers are by Pion (Ornament) and have been edged with white gesso paint.

I've placed some cheesecloth underneath the image, I was going to buy some fishing net which I thought would look fab, but managed to refrain  from doing so this time....

The cute deck chair is a Signature die, which has been cut in coordinating papers and white card. In the right hand corner I've placed some shells, star fish and cute die cut flip flops again in coordinating papers.

The flowers, lace, twine and pearl string are from my stash.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Picked Raspberry
Hair: Gathered Twigs, Walnut Stain, Grand Espresso
Top, Shoes and Cap: Hickory Smoke, Barn Door, Aged Mahogany
Shorts: Barn Door, Aged Mahogany
Crate: Gathered Twigs

This is the last post for a coupe of months as the DT are taking a well earned summer break, we will back in September.

Thank you for popping in.

Take care.

To the Happy Couple

Hi everyone,

I hope you all had a lovely weekend and are well.

I am just popping in to share another wedding card that I made recently.

Once again I have coloured up my LOTV stamp called 'Wedding Couple'.

Although this is very similar to the last wedding card I made, I have added  a shaker element to it.

The shape of the card has been cut using a Spellbinders heart die. With the final heart I cut,  I stamped the word LOVE from a Joycrafts 'Sending Love' stamp set into the centre and embossed it with silver embossing powder, finishing off with some iridescent hearts and pearl string and finally I overlapped a heart cut from a Marianne die.

The centre heart on the front and base of the card (which can't be seen in the photo very well) has been covered with lace.

The flowers, lace, heart charms, heart gems and diamante hearts are from my stash. The trailing leaves are a Rosy Owl die.

I have sprinkled some Glamour Dust onto the dress to give it some sparkle.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Bride:
Dress: Hickory Smoke
Flowers: Aged Mahogany, Spun Sugar, Forest Moss, Shabby Shutters
Groom:
Top Hat, Trousers, Jacket Tails: Hickory Smoke, Black Soot
Shirt: Old  Paper
Shoes: Pumice Stone

That's it from me today.

Thank you for popping in.

New Card Challenge - The Ribbon Girl - Squidgy and Teddy

Good morning everyone,

I hope you had a fabulous weekend and the week is off to a good start. I have returned to work today after having a very relaxing week off.

So on with the task in hand,  we have a new card challenge at the Ribbon Girl as always it's anything goes as long as its a card (any shape, any design).

I have coloured a Stamping Bella stamp called Squidgy and Teddy using DI reinkers.

The papers are from the Maja Sofiero collection called White Sand and Blush/Rouge and have been edged with white gesso.

The die along the left hand side is a Joy Stars banner die which has been cut twice once in white card and secondly in coordinating papers.

The die peeping out on the right hand side is a Marianne die which is an Anjas Vintage die.

I have placed some gorgeous octagonal iridescent flat back string along the left hand side and cut off a couple of of the octagons and placed them above and below the image.

Along the top edge I've added some beautiful white pom pom trim.

The pink flower is a gorgeous magnolia flower with some beaded white stamens each side of it.

The beautiful Guipure lace is called 'Jessica' and I've place some white double row pearl trim along the top edge.

The bow has been made out of pink flowery organza ribbon and finished off with a beautiful diamante pearl embellishment.

On the base of the card which doesn't show up too well is some more of the Jessica lace, double row pearl trim and I've cut a tag and created a bow out of 'Leah' white scallop flat lace, finishing off with another octagonal cut from the string.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose
Hair: Hickory Smoke, Black Soot
Dress: Victorian Velvet
Teddy: Tea Dye, Gathered Twigs, Spun Sugar, Black Soot
