New Challenge at Fussy and Fancy - Dancing with Stars Tilda

Morning everyone,

Well I am super excited today as it is the last day of the school term yay! Would you believe it I am behind with my Christmas cards, I still have 5 to make, it's a good job I am not at school next week.

I'm  back today to showcase my last Christmas card for this year for the new challenge at
Fussy and Fancy. Our challenge is being hosted this time by Jules and will run for four weeks until  11th January. The  theme is:

Angels, Fairies or Flowers Christmas or Winter.

I have colorued up an older Magnolia stamp called Dancing with Stars Tilda and coloured her with DI reinkers.

I have given her a bit of depth by decoupaging the dress and wings, I love to decoupage when I have the time to do it which sadly isn't often. The wings have been sprinkled with glamour dust which gives a lovely sparkle.

The star die and ice crystals are Joy dies.

Al the beautiful embellishments are from the Ribbon Girl, links are at the bottom of this post, just click on a  picture to be taken directly to the product.

Di list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Dress: Victorian Velvet
Tights: Victorian Velvet, Hickory Smoke

The lovely sponsor for this challenge is Lawn Fawn.

This will probably be the last card I post for this year as I am going to take a little break so I can catch up with everything I need to do, so I would like to say a big thank you to my crafty friends and followers and an even  bigger thank you to those of you that leave me comments, I truly appreciate each one of them.

So it just leaves me to wish to you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, I hope you have a fab one whatever you are doing.

Hugs

Reminder Card for the Paradise of Stamps - Tilda with Snowy Snowman

Good morning everyone,

I hope you are all well and having a fab week. Sorry I have MIA, but life has been so busy lately what with work, Christmas parties, Christmas shopping and it took me a while to recover from my bug too. Why is it that when you are so busy things go wrong? I must have had 6 attempts at colouring images and they were so poor they all went in the bin.

Anyway this morning I am sharing a reminder card for the current challenge at the
Paradise of Stamps and the current theme is:

Winter with optional background text.

I have coloured up the very sweet Tilda with Snowy Snowman with Di reinkers. I have sprinkled some glamour dust on her hat, collar and around the outside of her cloak and added some frantage around the image to represent the falling snow, finishing off with some gorgeous pearl string around the edge of the oval shape.

Most of the embellishments I have used on his card are from my stash, I am in love the artificial fir sprigs, I have added the links at the bottom of this post where I can.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Cloak, Hat and Boots: Aged Mahogany, Barn Door, Black
Snowman: Hickory Smoke, Black, Barn Door, Spiced Marmalade

That's all from me today.

Thank you for popping in.

Hugs

...............................................................................................

Hi everyone,

I hope you are enjoying your Sunday afternoon, it is pretty chilly here today, but I must admit I quite like the cold weather, there is nothing better than snuggling up in your craft room on a winter's day.

I am back again this afternoon to showcase my card for the new challenge at Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia and the theme is a very easy :

Anything Goes

I have coloured up one of my favourite stamps from the latest Magnolia collection called Poinsettia Tilda and coloured her with DI reinkers.

I stamped her on to my preferred colouring paper Artitistico Extra White, cut the shape out using a Joy Oval die. and sprinkled some frantage around the image to imitate falling snow.  Last of all I've added some pearl string as I struggle to make a card without it lol.

Te sentiment is an LOTV stamp which I stamped onto coordinating paper using some versamark ink, sprinkled some silver embossing powder over and heated it.

The white roses have been sprinkled with Twinklets to give a lovely icy look and the red roses and spruce twigs have been painted with white gesso.

The flowers and charms are from my stash, but the ribbon and lace are from the RIbbon Girl.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Top: Forest Moss, Shabby Shutters
Poinsettia: Barn Door, Aged Mahogany, Black
Trousers: Aged Mahogany, Barn Door, Hickory Smoke
